Online physician visits can improve access
A new report suggests that while there's a host of issues to address, Internet-based doctor visits are a good idea, as they could expand access to medical care. Still, the report, from the National Center for Policy Analysis, concedes that there are quality, liability, regulatory and security issues that need to be resolved. It also notes that physician adoption is likely to be slow until more insurers agree to pay for such visits. Article
